Pink Flamingo

A day later, but yesterday I was the equivalent of a zombie.

August/11/2012
Here is a swatch for you, I was too tired to do any nail art, and the ones I did try did not want to turn out, so I just gave up. We have here 2 coats of Orly's "Va Va Voom" a nice neon pink, with 1 coat of Nina Ultra Pro's "Pink Flamingo" to dull it down a touch.

I did manage some nail art, here is a 3D flower I sculpted in black acrylic powder on my thumb nail. I used Color Club's Nail Art Liner in "Bronze" for the gold-ish outlines. I hope you enjoy, and I promise more fun nail art after my exams are done.

Sparkling White Roses

So this is almost like a Nail Fail, but not exactly. The base glitter gradient was created using Revlon's "Sparkling" which is a beautiful cold pale dusty rose colour. Although, it didn't want to fade very nicely, as in past glitter fades I can usually cover the nail tips solidly with 2-3 coats. This one took 5 coats and you can still see my tips peeking through.
Now, the white rose flower was sculpted using white acrylic, I tried at first on a fake nail for practice, then once I did nice ones on there I tried the ring finger. Big mistake. Which is why that finger is blurred, but the middle finger turned out quite nicely.

New Year's Eve Nails

My nails for NYE, just a basic black french with gold lining, and a half moon on the ring finger. Also added a single sequin to the corner of each nail and a rhinestone on the ring finger.

Carly's Nails

Painted Carly's nails. This was done ages ago. Base colour is "Turned up Turquoise" by China Glaze. That was followed by  a fishnet pattern stamped in blue Konad polish, and then some hand-painted purple flowers.
