Fan Those Flames: Swatch

It's the year 2013! Congratulations! We made it through last year :)

As one of my (few practically zero) new year's resolutions, I'm going to swatch my entire nail polish collection properly. I'm doing it more so for my own reference, but I do hope it helps others out there who want to check out certain shades.

First up for this year is:

"Fan the Flames Fuchsia" by Miss Pro Nail Sation

Jan/01/2013
This is a pink hue, which when dry leans towards the magenta, it looks like it has warm undertones against my skin, but on viewing it in the bottle, I'm quite positive it has blue undertones.
So this is a bright shade, very cheery for winter up here in Canada. It's very close to a neon shade, so it does dry matte, but it is heavily pigmented. This is just 2 coats and as you can see no streaks, and optimal cover. So I'd say the formula is pretty good, it's also just the right thickness, but still dries quick. Sation also has a nice large brush which makes application a dream and super quick.

The only problem I had with this was that it chipped off in less than a day :(. Although, in hindsight that could be solved with a different basecoat, since this is the first time I've had that happen while wearing a Sation polish.

Thank you for reading!

Fuchsia Fever

This is what I've been wearing since Wednesday. The base is "Fuchsia Fever" by Revlon. On top of that I used Dollar Nail Art's foil in "Gold", and added one coat of L.A. Girl's glitter in "Synergy".

Mini Haul 2

Left to Right: Fuchsia Fever(Revlon), Night Prowl (Wet n' Wild), Dosh (Butter London), Expresso (Sally Hansen)

With one coat of "Sparkling" by Revlon
Bought a few new polishes while I was at Walmart. I love the glitter "Sparkling" by Revlon, its a nice cold rose shade of glitter with lots of sizes of hexagons in it to make it interesting. "Dosh" by Butter London, I purchased off of Glymm.com using the points I earned from the $10 monthly Glymm box.

Kleancolor Haul

Left to Right: "230 Chunky Holo Fuschia","104 Fashionista", "45 Copper"

Left to Right: "199 Hot Stuff", "228 Chunky Holo Candy", "198 Bite Me"

Left to Right: "181 Mix Signal", "118 Jazz Olive", "236 Chunky Holo Black"

Left to Right: "112 Golden Nightmare", "58 Expresso", "50 Cappuchino

Recently received the 12 new nail polishes I bought a few weeks ago. They're all by Kleancolor, and sadly not available in Canada minus a few select Mom n' Pop stores, so I purchased mine on Ebay. Along with each colour I added a swatch painted onto some fake nails. To look at their whole collection (make-up included) go to their website here: Kleancolor

P.S. They have a nice variety of colours, but they do take a tad longer to dry.
